Following is information about the city's new waste carts from Sydney Johnson, environmental education and enforcement coordinator for the City of Salina.
For all City of Salina sanitation customers, your new waste carts will contain an information packet upon delivery.
The packet will have the new setout guidelines, the new collection map, and other useful information!
Automated waste collection, the new setout guidelines, and the new collection map will take effect Monday, July 19 2021.
These first couple of weeks before the start of automation are the PERFECT time to practice!
