
SEDGWICK COUNTY—A man accused in a fatal hit-and-run that killed a bicyclist is due in court Wednesday
Christopher Johnson, 23, will appear before Judge Eric Williams for an arraignment hearing, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.
In August, police responded to a traffic collision involving a vehicle and an electric bicycle at 2400 N. Hoover in Wichita, according to Officer Juan Rebolledo.
First responders found 43-year-old Thomas Doyle of Wichita who was riding the bike unresponsive. Thomas was later pronounced deceased at the scene by Sedgwick County EMS.
Investigators determined Doyle was northbound on Hoover when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Johnsaon that then continued driving north.
On August 22, police arrested Johnson on felony allegations, according to Sedgwick County booking records. He bonded out of jail the following day.
