KANSAS CITY — A Kansas City Missouri Police motorcycle officer was injured in an accident just before 8:30a.m. Thursday.
According to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino, the motorcycle officer was conducting school zone enforcement on the south side of the roadway. The motorcycle officer attempted to catch up to a speeding vehicle when the officer’s vehicle went down. The officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Police reported no additional details.
