KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a homicide in Kansas City.

Just after midnight officers responded to 62nd and Prospect on a medical call, according to Sheriff Daryl Forte'.

First responders found a man lying in a parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.&nbsp;The incident is being investigated as a homicide. Police has not reported an arrest or identified the victim.&nbsp;
