KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement investigating three separate homicides on Tuesday in Kansas City have identified one of the victims as 58-year-old Larry Curtis, according to KCPD Officer Alayna Gonzalez.

Just before 12:15a.m. Tuesday, officers were patrolling in the area of E 30th Street and Indiana Avenue when they observed a vehicle stopped in the roadway and facing oncoming traffic, according to Gonzalez.

Officers stopped to check the vehicle and any occupants that may be inside. As they approached the vehicle, an adult male victim, later identified as Curtis, could be seen inside suffering from apparent gunshot trauma and unresponsive.

EMS responded to the scene and declared Curtis deceased.  Police have not reported an arrest.
