SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a residential robbery and have suspects in custody.
Just beforee 3a.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to the 100 block of SW Western in Topeka in reference a residential robbery to an individual that had just occurred, according to. Police Lt. Kelvin Johnson.
Officers met with the victim and were able to get possible identification of the three suspects who were involved. The suspect’s vehicle was later located parked behind a residence in the 1000 block of NW Jackson in Topeka.
As officers were dealing with the vehicle the three suspects came out of a residence and were taken into custody and brought to the Law Enforcement Center for interviews. At the conclusion of the interviews police arrested Derek Devlin, 37 of Topeka, on requested charges of Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and Theft
Todd Devlin, 55, of Topeka, was arrested on on requested charges of Aggravated Robbery and Theft. The third individual was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant. Police did not release that suspect's name.
