Police investigating theft of tools, other items in east Salina

More than $1,400 worth of tools and other items were stolen recently from a residence in east Salina.

Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester reported this morning that sometime between Friday and Monday, the following items were stolen from a residence in the 600 block of Pheasant Circle.

A DeWalt table saw, valued at $500

An unknown brand nail guns, valued at $200

A toolbelt and tools, valued at $100

A DeWalt drill and impact driver, valued at $250

A drill mixer, valued at $125

A box with hand tools and building supplies, valued at $200

Knee pad sleeves, valued at $40

According to Forrester, the stolen items belonged to a 43-year-old Salina man, a 62-year-old Salina man, and a 37-year-old Lindsborg man who all were doing work on a residence in the 600 block of Pheasant Circle.

No signs of forced entry were located, he noted.
