SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a violent knife attack.
Just before 4 p.m., Sunday, police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 600 block of N Kansas Avenue in Topeka, according to Police Lt. Edward Stanley.
First responders located a man who was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation, police took 24-year-old Davis A. Lee of Topeka into custody. He is being held on a requested charge of Aggravated Battery.
