ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.
Shortly before 3:30a.m. on Sunday, an officer on patrol stopped a Ford Fusion vehicle in the 600 block Spring Street in Atchison for a traffic violation, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
The driver, 20-year-old Gracie Peuker, was subsequently found to be in possession of controlled substances including amphetamine pills and marijuana. She remains jailed on requested charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
