KANSAS CITY—One person died in an accident just before 8a.m. Friday in Kansas City.
A Jaguar S-type was northbound on Holmes at 133rd where it traveled around the lowered train warning arms, ignoring the warning lights and audible signals, according to KCPD Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
The Jaguar then attempted to cross a second train crossing. The front engine of the approaching train struck the car.
