SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating three suspects on multiple narcotics related allegations.
On Feb. 15, the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), as part of the Shawnee County Drug Enforcement Task Force, and the Fugitive Warrant Unit executed a narcotics search warrant in the 3500 block of SW Westport Court in Topeka, according to Deputy Abigail Christian. During the investigation, illegal narcotics and three individuals with felony warrants were located.
John K. Oppermann, 57, Joshua L. Fosso, 43, and Porsche L. Shelden, 34, all of Topeka, were arrested on scene and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections.
Opperman had a felony warrant for his arrest out of Shawnee County for a previous narcotic investigation and was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shelden had a felony warrant out of another state for her arrest and was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Fosso had a felony warrant for his arrest out of another state and was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Two additional subjects were released, pending further investigation.
