WYANDOTTE COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating the murder over the the Thanksgiving weekend have identified the victim as 17-year-old Nicholas Brooks of Kansas City, Kansas, according a media release from police.
Just before 11:30 a.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to the area of N. 2nd Street and Quindaro Blvd. in Kansas City, Kansas, after reports of a deceased person inside a vehicle.
First responders found Brooks inside a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound. This incident is under investigation by the KCKPD Major Case Unit. Police have not reported possible suspect details.
