On the city's social media page they shared the change of plans.

"We all know, there has been a Witch melting amount of rain dumped on Railroad Park. After spending last night and all morning trouble shooting, we’re are pivoting away from any Friday Toto events and directing all our efforts to have Toto still ready for OZtoberfest on Saturday."
"Luckily for us, Toto wasn’t kidnapped by flying monkeys, and we know a Wizard. More than one actually. Our huge collaboration of Wizards from Midwest Concrete Materials, Riley Construction Company, Inc, Icon Poly, and the City of Wamego, Kansas Government are all rallying to get Toto ready in time for our OZtobefest guests."
"It will be a challenge that will take all of our hearts, brains, and courage to make happen. We are confident that Toto is indeed still coming home to Wamego, and invite you to our rescheduled Ribbon Cutting on Saturday at 11am during OZtoberfest."
"When you pull back the curtain, that’s how Wamego Magic actually happens. It’s the work behind the scenes to do big things that make this community so awesome. A place where no one throws in the towel, we grab our tools and talents and go to work."
"Click your heels and say it with us, “There’s no place like Wamego”. Now we’re off to go help our Wamego Wizards get Toto home. "
