JACKSON COUNTY, Kan.—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on drug allegaions.
Just before midnight January 25, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2000 Toyota Corolla on U.S. Hwy 75, near 118th Road, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
During the traffic stop, a Police Service Dog (PSD) Duke was deployed to conduct a free-air sniff of the vehicle. Duke alerted and indicated to the odor of illegal narcotics in the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, methamphetamine, THC, & drug paraphernalia were located.
The driver, Kaley Rae Lindberg, 32, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia and violations of driver’s license restrictions.
