KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement investigating a double-homicide in Kansas City, Missouri have identified the victims as 36-year-old Adriane E. Stanley and 35-year-Demetrius Davis, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
Just after 9p.m. Wednesday, patrol officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 9600 block of Fremont Street, according to DiMartino.
As officers arrived they were directed to the driveway of a residence where they located the victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers immediately began performing life saving measures and ordered KCFD EMS to the scene. Medics declared both victims deceased, on scene.
This is being investigated as a homicide and no one is in custody, according to DiMaratino. Preliminary investigation revealed there was an argument that led to a physical confrontation between several individuals. The physical confrontation led to shots being fired and the victims being struck.
