SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement investigating a fatal crash that killed a Kansas man Saturday afternoon in north Wichita identified the victim as 63-year-old Lawrence Glover of Wichita, according to a media release from police.
Just after 1p.m. Saturday, police responded to an injury crash in the 2700 block of North Amidon in Wichita, according to a media release.
When officers arrived, they found Glover in a wheelchair who had been struck by a pickup. EMS transported him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The driver, identified as in county booking records as 36-year-old Jaime Andrez Gonzalez-Arambula remained at the scene. Officers determined he was impaired and he was booked and remains jailed on requested charges of felony DUI and involuntary manslaughter, according to online jail records.
