Kansas woman dead in 2-vehicle crash

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. —A Kansas woman died in an accident just before 10a.m. Sunday in Camden County, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Subaru Forester driven by a 60-year-old Bel Aire, Kansas woman was eastbound on U.S. 54 just west of Old Highway 54. The Subaru began to skid, crossed the center of the highway and struck a westbound 2023 Chevy Tahoe driven by a 67-year-old West Point, Nebraska man.

The driver of the Subaru was pronounced dead at the scene. Camden County ambulance transported the Tahoe driver and three adult passengers from West Point, Nebraska to Lake Regional Hospital. All four were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
