Police: 4 jailed for Kansas hotel burglary

RENO COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a burglary at the Atrium Hotel in Hutchinson and have four people in custody.

Just after 11 a.m. Police responded to the hotel at 1400 North Lorraine in Hutchinson after the keyholder for the property went to check on the building and heard voices inside, according to Hutchinson Police Lt. Jake Graber.

No one had permission to be inside. Arriving officers went inside to search and located four.

Police arrested 40-year-old Travis Christian on requested charges of Burglary, Theft, a warrant for Possession of Stolen Property and Possession of Methamphetamine, 40-year-old Angela Cole on requested charges of Burglary, Theft and Possession of Methamphetamine

Jesse Villa, 39, is being held on requested charges for Burglary, Theft Possession of Methamphetamine and Felony Interference

Christopher Villela was booked on requested charges for Burglary, Theft, Posession of Methamphetamine and Felony interference.

Police also recovered two vehicles and two firearms as part of the investigation.
