SEDGWICK COUNTY —A Kansas man accused of violent sex crimes made his first court appearance in the case this we.
Hunter Peach, 23 of Wichita, is charged with 3 counts of rape, 2 counts of aggravated domestic battery, and 2 counts of attempted aggravated criminal sodomy, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.
On October 17, a 23-year-old woman reported she was sexually assaulted by Peach, according to Officer Chad Ditch.
Police located Peach and arrested him in the 400 block of West Central in Wichita and booked him on requested sex crimes.
Peach and the woman know each other, according to police. He is in the Sedgwick County Jail on a bond of $300,000, according to the district attorney's office. His next court hearing is October 31.
