SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities investigating a domestic disturbance have a suspect in custody.
Tanner Thompson, 27, was booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections Thursday evening, according to online jail records.
Just before 11a.m. Tuesday, deputies with the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 3800 block of SE Croco Road for a domestic disturbance, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
At the residence, deputies discovered a woman and an infant victim. Both were transported by American Medical Response (AMR) to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At 1:15pm, law enforcement officers attempted to make contact with a suspect identified as Thompson, who was believed to still be inside the residence.
Southbound SE Croco Road was shut down to one lane of travel during that time period. At 2pm, officers entered and cleared the residence. No person was located inside the residence.
The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office asked the community’s assistance Thompson. He had an active felony warrant for his arrest. He is being held on requested charges of Criminal Threat, Aggravated Endangering A Child; Reckless Situation, battery, assault and Domestic battery; Knowing or reckless bodily harm to family/person in dating relationship.
Authorities have not released details on his arrest.
