MANHATTAN – Kansas State Soccer Head Coach Mike Dibbini continues to strengthen the 2021 roster, as the Wildcats have signed Riley Baker to a National Letter of Intent.
“Riley Baker is an athletic attacker that can create chances for either herself or her teammates,” said Dibbini about the seventh freshman for the 2021 roster. “She loves the challenge of scoring goals and she is very opportunistic in the attack.”
Baker has played club soccer with FC Dallas in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL). During her club career, Baker has tallied 56 goals in Development Academy and ECNL matches. In 2018, Baker helped the FC Dallas U15 squad win the 2018 Development Academy National Championship by scored 17 goals in 34 matches.
K-State capped its Big 12-only schedule with a record of 3-6-0. This marked the most wins in league play since the program started as a member of the Big 12 in 2017.
The Wildcats, winners of three of their final five matches, also clinched a seventh-place finish in the league standings which marked its highest finish in the league standings.
