WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Detectives investigating a deadly shooting in Wyandotte County have identified the victim as 21-year-old Daniel Thurman, according to Kansas City, Kansas Police.
Just after 5p.m. Nov. 8 officers were dispatched to a shooting at a residence in the area of N. 6th Street and Splitlog Avenue, according to a media release.
When officers arrived on scene, they discovered Thurman with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased on scene. The suspect, later identified as 25-year-old David Marcos, a resident of Kansas City, Kan. was arrested at the scene. He has been charged by the district attorney’s office with murder in the second-degree. He is currently being held in the Wyandotte County Jail on a $200,000.00 bond.
