POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY - On Tuesday, February 7, the Pottawatomie County Dispatch received a 911 call around 12:43 pm reporting a structure fire in the 400 block of E. Plum Street, Louisville, Kansas.
Upon arrival crews discovered a mobile home with smoke coming from the inside.
A father and son exited the mobile home with minor injuries prior to emergency crews arriving on scene.
Sheriff's Deputies learned during the incident that a methamphetamine lab was inside the residence.
Deputies searched the residence, after executing a search warrant and the fire was extinguished.
As a result of the search warrant, two men were arrested and transported to the Pottawatomie County Jail.
Odis Leon Parker, 80, Louisville, was arrested on requested charges of Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, Criminal Use of Weapons, Possession of Paraphernalia with Intent to Manufacture a Controlled Substance, Possession of Stimulant, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He is currently confined in the Pottawatomie County Jail on a $10,000 bond
Odis Leon Parker Jr., 47, Louisville, was booked on requested charges of Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, Possession of Paraphernalia with Intent to Manufacture a Controlled Substance, Arson; Accidental to Dwelling by Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, and Aggravated Battery. He is currently confined in the Pottawatomie County Jail on a $10,000 bond
The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office was assisted in the investigation by Pottawatomie County Consolidated Fire, Wamego Fire Department Pottawatomie County EMS, Kansas State Fire Marshal, Riley County Police Department, and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
