MANHATTAN -- K-State takes on No. 7/8 Oklahoma in a Big 12 matchup Tuesday.
The game is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. CT Tuesday in Bramlage Coliseum and will air nationally on ESPN2.
K-State (6-18, 2-13 Big 12) will meet Oklahoma (14-5, 9-4 Big 12) for the second time this season after the Sooners posted a 76-50 win at home on Jan. 19. Oklahoma has a 110-102 advantage in the series that dates to 1920, but K-State is 63-36 at home, including a 17-8 mark at Bramlage Coliseum with 8 straight victories dating back to 2013.
Tuesday’s game continues a challenging stretch for the Wildcats, as the Sooners will represent the 11th ranked opponent this season, including the ninth in the last 11 games. Of head coach Bruce Weber’s school-record 26 Top 25 wins, six have come against ranked Sooner teams.
Oklahoma is one of the hottest teams in the nation with wins in eight of the last nine games, including nationally ranked foes Kansas, Texas, Alabama, Texas Tech and West Virginia. The Sooners ran their winning streak to 3 on Saturday with a 66-56 victory at Iowa State.
