FINNEY COUNTY —Law enforcement in southwest Kansas are investigating a surge in fentanyl crimes.

Over the weekend, police in Garden City reported First Responders have responded to several suspected fentanyl-related overdoses in the community over a 24-hour period, according to a social media report.

The police department reminded the public, "talk to your friends and family about fentanyl. No drug is worth your life. The GCPD is investigating these incidents and continues efforts to stop the flow of drugs."
