ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.
On June 19, police conducted an investigation in the 400 block South 10th Street in Atchison after an officer on patrol stopped the vehicle driven by 49-year-old Kelly L. McGuire was driving because she was driving while suspended, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
McGuire was found to be in possession of controlled substances.
Just before 5p.m. Thursday, police arrested McGuire in the 300 block Santa Fe Street on a District Court warrant for possession of fentanyl, possession of alprazolam, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license.
