
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. – Law enforcement are investigating a suspect for alleged child sex crimes.
On March 8, Teddy Lynn Moore, 58, of Topeka, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Jackson County District Court for multiple felony charges involving a minor, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
The charges include two counts of rape of a child under 14 years of age and two counts of aggravated criminal sodomy with a child under 14 years of age.
The charges stem from an investigation conducted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office that began in July of 2025. Moore was taken into custody by the United States Marshal’s Service and is being held in the Jackson County Jail with bond set at $1,000,000.00.
