KBI: Purple Alert for missing Kansas woman canceled

WOODSON COUNTY – The Yates Center Police Department reported to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) that Tammara Isaacs was located safely. The statewide Purple Alert is canceled.

A Purple Alert is used to assist in the location of missing adults suffering from a mental or cognitive disability.

WOODSON COUNTY – The Yates Center Police Department requested the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) issue a statewide Purple Alert for a missing Yates Center woman.  A Purple Alert is used to assist in the location of missing adults suffering from a mental or cognitive disability.

The whereabouts of 58-year-old Tammara Isaacs are unknown, and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate her.

Isaacs was last seen Tuesday afternoon around 3 p.m. at her residence in Yates Center. On Wednesday morning, her car was missing from her residence and she was not there. She is believed to be driving a 2006 dark blue Chevy Malibu.

Isaacs is described as a white female who is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. She has blue eyes and blonde, medium length hair.

Isaacs was recently diagnosed with psychosis.
