WABAUNSEE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 11a.m. Tuesday in Wabaunsee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Kimberly G. Terhune, 64, Maple Hill, was westbound on Interstate 70 just east of Keene Eskridge Road. The SUV traveled into the median, continued into the passing lane of eastbound Interstate 70 and collided with a 2019 Ram 1500 driven by Mark E. Robb, 73, Manhattan.
Terhune was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the Shawnee County Coroner's Office. EMS transported Robb and a passenger Judith A. Robb, 75, Manhattan, to Stormont Vail. Terhune was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
