Just after 2p.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 2300 block of North Somerset after they received information that Schoenberger was inside an apartment in the area.

A SWAT team was unable to get Schoenberger outside. A drone was deployed inside the apartment and found Schoenberger with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at 4:47 p.m., according to Ford.

On Monday night a rolling disturbance between a female victim and Schoenberger, who had cut off his ankle monitor, occurred while they were in a vehicle together.

The victim, who was driving, stopped in front of Wesley Medical Center, got out, and tried to get away from Schoenberger.  He was still in the passenger seat, opened fire—striking the victim in the upper body.

The victim was rushed into surgery but later died from her injuries. During the gunfire, Wesley Medical Center was also struck.

Witnesses reported seeing Schoenberger running from the area with a firearm.
