
GREENWOOD COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 1a.m. Sunday in Greenwood County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported law enforcement were in pursuit of a reported stolen 2012 Honda Pilot driven by Joshua M. Walker, 32, Galena, southbound on HH road one mile south of U.S. 400.
The driver failed to negotiate the intersection of 1600 Road as HH Road ends. The vehicle then proceeded off the roadway southwest of the intersection where it struck a tree, a metal rail and became disabled.
EMS transported Walker to Fredonia Regional Hospital. He was also not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
