OSAGE COUNTY— A Kansas man was briefly back in jail on drug allegations for the second time in two months.
Just before 5p.m. September 26, a Sheriff’s Office Investigator conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of North 9th Street in Osage City for a traffic violation, according to Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells. During the stop, a K-9 was deployed and illegal narcotics were located.
Travis W. Hill, 66, of Burlingame was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility on requested charges of Possession of methamphetamine and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
In August, a sheriff's deputy conducted a traffic stop at K-31 Highway and South Wanamaker Road for a traffic violation. During the stop, a K-9 was deployed and illegal narcotics were located. Hill was arrested on requested charges that include Distribution of methamphetamine, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Possession of marijuana, Vehicle liability insurance required, Operate vehicle without registration. He is no longer in custody, according to online jail records.
