GEARY COUNTY — Law enforcement and officials with Geary USD 475 are investigating a post made on Snapchat on Friday morning that featured the names of students and staff from Junction City Middle School, according to a media release from the Junction City Police.
As of Friday, Sept. 13, the Junction City Police Department began working with Snapchat to try and identify the account holder where the list originated from. Due to the nature of this snap and as a precautionary measure, there will be an increased officer presence at Junction City Middle School, Fort Riley Middle School and Junction City High School over the coming days.
