SEDGWICK COUNTY —A child is recovering from injuries after an accident in Wichita.
On Tuesday morning, police responded to the report of a child being struck by a vehicle on private property, according to Wichita Police Department Captain Aaron Moses.
EMS transported the 4-year-old boy to an area hospital with critical injuries.
Investigators responded and it appears this was an accident caused by the child running out from behind a shed in an alley in the 900 Block of S. Mission where the 23-year-old driver of the SUV could not see him. Police released no additional details.
