SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating the death of a woman and her son.
Just before 10:30a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a medial call in the 600 block of NE Grattan in Topeka, according to a media release. Upon arrival, officers located two people who were deceased.
On Wednesday, police reported the two were identified as Samantha Allen, 34, of Topeka, and her 10-year-old son. The deaths are being investigated as accidental, according to police. No foul play is suspected. Police released no additional details late Wednesday.
