Salina Public Library has something special planned for the new year—the 2021 Reading Challenge!
According to information on the library's Facebook page, the 2021 Reading Challenge is a library program that encourages people to read books from different categories to discuss as a group. Each month has a challenge that is wrapped up the last Tuesday of each month with a book discussion.
Recommendations for each challenge are available at salinapubliclibrary.org/readingchallenge.
January's challenge is to read a book set in a different country.
Participants will qualify for monthly prize drawings with a grand prize drawing at the end of the year. Participants can also review the books they've read for a chance to win.
