Crimestoppers seeks tips about theft of cellphones

On June 30, 2020, between 7:30-7:55 a.m., a man at Walmart, 2900 South Ninth Street, damaged display brackets in the electronics department and took two Samsung cellphones.

The total loss of the theft and damage was valued at $2,194. The Salina Police Department was advised that this person may be involved in similar events at other Kansas Walmart Stores (Great Bend, Hays, McPherson).

The suspect was a heavy set black male, wearing a white t-shirt, a black hat, and had a mask around his neck. He appeared to have a beard and glasses. After the theft, the man entered a maroon Ford Flex and fled in an unknown direction on Interstate 135.
