KANSAS CITY —One person injured in a November 21 three-vehicle crash in Kansas City has died, according to the Jackson County Medical Examiner's office.
Just before 8:30a.m. Nov. 21, a Volkswagen and a Volvo were southbound on Troost Avenue near East 83rd Street, according to KCPD Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
A Chevrolet Malibu was facing east on East 83rd Street. The driver of the Chevrolet pulled out in front of the Volvo and Volkswagen. Both of those vehicles struck the Chevrolet in the left side.
EMS transported the rear passenger in the Chevrolet to an area hospital with critical injuries. He was pronounced dead just after 1:30p.m. Thursday from injuries in the crash. Police did not know if he was wearing his seatbelt.
