PRATT, Kan. — A Kansas man arrested in May on sex crime charges has been sentenced to 25-years in prison.
On September 19, Larry Beireis, 62, Pratt, was convicted in Pratt County District Court on charges of Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a Child Under 14, according to a media release.
He is being held in the El Dorado Correctional Facility, according to online jail records.

PRATT COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man for alleged child sex crimes.
Following an investigation into allegations that a child had been sexually assaulted, police arrested 62-year-old Larry Bereis, according to a media release from police.
Bereis is currently being held on a $500,000 bond on requested charges of sexual assault of a child < 14 years of age.
