SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in Wichita.

Just after 3a.m. Sunday, police  responded to a shooting call in the 5100 block of E 2nd Street in Wichita, according to officer Trevor Macy.

Upon arrival, they located a 20-year-old man in the backyard of a home in the 200 block of North Battin who was suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased on scene.

Three additional  male victims ages 29, 26 and 17 all suffering gunshot wounds, arrived at an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  They were treated for their injuries and released, according to Macy.

Investigators learned that the victims were involved in a party at a home on Battin, which was being rented out as an Airbnb.

The investigation is ongoing into what led to the shooting. Cooperation from the victims has been limited, but this does not appear to be a random incident.
