CLARK COUNTY —Fire crews were busy again in southwest Kansas on Tuesday. According to a social media post, Ashland, Kansas fire crews responded to help with a grass fire by the Clark State fishing lake.
On the way, crews were diverted to two other lightning strike fires. All five of the fires were extinguished and there were no injuries reported.
Minneola Ford County, Comanche County, Fowler, and Englewood Fire Departments assisted in fighting the fires.
