Kansas woman caught with meth on Valentine's Day

 JACKSON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.

On Valentine's Day, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on an Infiniti FX 35 SUV on Q Road north of 150th Road, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

The traffic stop led to the search of the vehicle. The deputy located items believed to be drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. The driver, Anna Lee Potts, 57, of Mayetta, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and no insurance.
