STANTON COUNTY—A woman from southwest Kansas died in an accident just after 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Stanton County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Peterbilt semi driven by Abram Froesse Boschman, 28, Logan, New Mexico, struck a southbound 2004 Chevy 2500 driven by Gladis A. Antillon Garcia, 46, Johnson City, at the intersection of Kansas 27 and U.S. 160 and the pickup began to turn east.
Antillon Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported Garnand Funeral Home. EMS transported Boschman to the Stanton County Hospital. Boschman was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
