
FINNEY COUNTY —A Kansas teen is under investigation for a bank robbery in southwest Kansas.
Just before 1p.m. December 2, Police Officers and Finney County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported bank robbery at Equity Bank, 401 N. Henderson Street in city of Holcomb, according to a media release from polcie.
Law enforcement learned the suspect had left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, armed with a knife and wearing a mask.
Officers and deputies quickly located the suspect—identified as Chase Walker, 16, of Holcomb—in the bank parking lot. He was taken into custody without incident, and no injuries were reported. Evidence related to the crime was recovered at the scene.
Walker was arrested on requested charges of Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and additional allegations, according to police. .
