SEDGWICK COUNTY —A Kansas home daycare provider accused of child abuse made a court appearance on Tuesday.
Ija Hall, 29, of Wichita, owner of His Loving Hands Home Childcare, 357 N. Erie in Wichita, was charged with two counts of abuse of a child, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.
Earlier this month, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment suspended Hall's license after an incident involving a child she was fostering.
A protective order was issued during her court appearance, according to the district attorney's office. She is not to have contact with the victim in the case or any child under the age of 12.
Hall remains free on a $25,000 bond. Her next court date is October 7, before Judge Quentin Pittman, according to the district attorney's office.
