KINGMAN COUNTY — Authorities in the city of Kingman are warning of a water supply issue and asking residents to limit use to sanitary purposes only, according to a media release from the city.

This is a supply issue as the wells south of the city are not sending the usual rate of water to the storage facilities.

In addition, the Kansas Department of Health on Monday morning also issued a No Drink Order for the city's water system.  This is due to the re-activation of older wells into the system.

The city is working on emergency water supplies and ways to address the issues.
