SEDGWICK COUNTY —A 33-year-old Kansas man has been found guilty in the rape of a 72-year-old woman.
On March 16, a jury found Jeremy Brown of Valley Center guilty on four counts of rape, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.
Just before 4:30a.m. June 26, police responded to a report of rape at a home in the 1600 block of South St. Paul Street in Wichita, according to Officer Charley Davidson and contacted a 72-year-old woman identified as a victim.
Investigators learned the 72-year-old woman was with a 37-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man at a local bar where they met Jeremy Brown and then all four met at a home on St. Paul Street. At the residence, Brown is alleged to have sexually assaulted the 72-year-old.
Booking details listed him as 6-foot-4 inches tall and 400 pounds. He is scheduled for sentencing in May, according to the district attorney's office.
