BUTLER COUNTY —A Kansas pilot avoided injury after a mishap just after 10a.m. Saturday in Butler County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported, during the 4th take off attempt, a 2023 Cesnna Skyhawk piloted by Priyadarshini Talreja, 40, Wichita, began to track towards the left side of the runway at the Augusta Municipal Airport. The aircraft continued drifting left and control inputs were applied in an attempt to maintain centerline and regain directional control. The aircraft continued traveling to the left, entered the snow area and came to rest upside down.
