ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after an arrest in Atchison.
Just before 6:30p.m. on Thursday officers responded to a residence in the 1100 block South 7th Street to investigate an unwanted person at the residence, according to Police Mike Wilson.
Once at the scene officers found the resident outside of the home who told police he arrived home to see a man identified as 36-year-old Joshua R. Morgan at the back of his residence. The resident knows Morgan.
It was determined that entry had been made into the residence and police searched the residence and found Morgan hiding in a closet. He was taken into custody on requested charges of burglary, attempted theft, and criminal damage to property
