SEDGWICK COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 5p.m. Thursday in Wichita.
According to Wichita Police, a motorcycle driven by Richard Daniels was eastbound in the 1000 Block of East MacArthur in Wichita. A USD 259 Wichita school bus with 18 students on board made a left turn in front of the motorcycle resulting in the collision.
Emergency medical personnel rendered aid at the scene and transported Daniels to Wesley Medical Center in critical condition. He died of his injuries on Friday morning, according to police.
There were no injuries reported among the students or the bus driver.
